Yes, the multi-point inspection is a vehicle inspection checklist in PDF form. Each line gets one mark, Pass, Attn or Fail, and a note. You can type into the fields on screen, or print the sheet and write. Each kit arrives as a US Letter PDF and an A4 PDF.
Side 1 and side 2 make one double-sided sheet per vehicle. The rest you print when the job needs it.
The kit’s title page.
Set-up, printing, how to mark each check and what the codes mean, on one page.
Customer and vehicle, 17-character VIN and odometer, then under hood, lights and electrical, wipers and glass, HVAC and the battery visual check. Pass, Attn or Fail on each line, with a note.
Tires at each position (tread, pressure, wear code, DOT date), brake pad, shoe, rotor and drum readings, battery test, steering and suspension, under-vehicle checks and the technician’s sign-off.
Fill once per shop: your own Attn and Fail points for tread, brake lining and battery, your labor rate and how long an estimate stays valid. The points repeat in the legend on both sides.
Work completed today, kept apart from Attention now and Attention soon. Parts, labour and amount per line, approve or decline initials, totals and signatures. Every amount is blank for your shop to fill.
A worked example of side 1 for training your techs. Not for customers.
The matching back, with tire, brake and battery readings filled in.
A finished report has one mark per line, Pass, Attn or Fail, with a short note where it matters. The filled sample pages show the vehicle and customer, tire and brake readings, the battery test and the technician’s sign-off, so a new tech sees a good write-up before the first car.
The bay sheet, the counter sheet and the condition report, with your shop’s name on every page. One checkout, one email with all the files.
On our form: side 1 covers under hood (fluids, belts, hoses, filters, leaks, coolant strength), lights and electrical, wipers and glass, HVAC and a battery visual check. Side 2 covers tires at each position, brake pad, shoe, rotor and drum measurements, a battery test, steering and suspension and under-vehicle checks. Your shop decides how it inspects, and the sheet records it.
A multi-point inspection check is one line on the sheet: the item, one mark, and a short note with the finding or measurement. The mark is Pass (OK today), Attn (plan attention soon) or Fail (repair needed now).
Enter the vehicle and customer on side 1, then mark one box per row and write a note where it helps. On side 2, record tire, brake and battery readings per position. Put finished work and recommendations on the findings and estimate page, and get the customer’s approve or decline initials per line.
On our sheet, each tire position gets its tread, pressure, wear code and DOT date. Side 2 holds these readings wheel by wheel, next to the brake pad, shoe, rotor and drum readings. The Attn and Fail points for tread are the ones your shop sets on the shop standards page.
A good inspection report shows the shop’s name, the customer and vehicle, a result for every check and a note where it matters. Our sheet opens with the shop header, then the 17-character VIN and odometer, then grouped checks marked Pass, Attn or Fail. The technician’s sign-off closes side 2.
No, the Attn and Fail points are not legal limits. You set them on the shop standards page and they repeat in the legend on both sides. They are your shop’s escalation points. For rotor minimums and drum maximums, use the service specification for the vehicle and axle.
Yes, each kit includes a US Letter PDF and an A4 PDF. Print at actual size, double-sided, flipping on the long edge, or flip the pair by hand.
A check-out and check-in record with a zone map. Fill OUT when the keys leave and IN when they come back. For rental and loaner counters.
A two-sided condition report with the VIN, from panels and tires to the road test. A reconditioning list comes with it. It records condition, not a price.
